Pastor Owen's Ordination
Details
Pastor Owen is being ordained to the priesthood in the Anglican church. This is a moment of fruition, Owen's having served the church faithfully for decades. He has also followed the guidance of the Spirit as The Vine has elected to move into the Anglican Church of North America (ACNA). And so Pastor Owen has submitted his calling to our Bishop Terrell, who has recognized Owen's giftedness as a priest, and Rector (ie. "spiritual director") of this church.
Perhaps an ordination service is new for you, and perhaps it is not. Either way, we invite you to join us to both celebrate Owen, and to be present to witness the promises made by those who are called to serve as a priest in this Anglican way of following Jesus.
